BLF Union Outbound Terms & Conditions

1.    Information on How to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.

2.    The promotion period begins on September 1st, 2011 at 12.00am and ends on October 14, 2011 at 11.59pm

3.    Must be a member of the BLF Union call back program.

4.    Eligible entrants who participate in the BLF Union health insurance analysis provided by iSelect will be awarded 1 entry into the draw. Each eligible entrant can only have 1 entry.

5.    Eligible entrants who purchase a qualifying health insurance policy through iSelect Health will be awarded an extra 2 entries into the draw (3 in total). Qualifying health insurance policies are any hospital policy, extras policy or any combined hospital & extras from iSelect's participating funds. Entrants can view qualifying health insurance policies at www.iselect.com.au. Cancellation of an existing Health Insurance policy purchased through iSelect and purchase of a new Health Insurance policy will not qualify for entry. Each eligible entrant can only have 1 entry.

6.    Any agencies associated with this promotion and any of their immediate family are excluded from entry in this competition.

7.    All entries will be downloaded and placed in a manual draw. The draw will take place at BLF Union head office, Level 2, 366 Upper Roma Street, Brisbane QLD 4000. Winners will be advised via phone. By entering, you consent to have your name published if you win on www.blfq.org and www.engagingmembers.com.au.

8.    The draw close’s on October 14th, 2011 at 11.59pm. All prize draws will take place on October 31st, 2011 at 3.00pm.

9.    The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same time and place as the original draw as is necessary on November 30th, 2011 in order to distribute the prizes if any remain unclaimed by that date subject to any relevant legislation. If such draw is required the winner will be notified via phone and in writing and their name published on the BLF Union website.

10.    The details contained in your entry are protected by security safeguards as detailed in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, which is also available on the website. The personal information collected as part of the entry is collected to enable identification of the winner and for future marketing and promotional purposes. Your personal information will only be disclosed to the Promoter and its related bodies corporate for these purposes.

12.    The Promoter shall not be liable for any manufacturer defects in prizes or for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) as a result of taking a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

13.    Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter and its agencies associated with this Promotion (including their respective officers, employees and agents) are not liable and do not accept responsibility for:

a)    a Participant's entry that is not received or which are received and subsequently corrupted or rejected by the Web Site, whether or not after receipt by the Promoter;

b)    any lost, misdirected or corrupt emails to or from the Web Site;

c)    any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained:
(i)    in connection with a Participant’s participation in the Promotion or the taking of a place or prize; or
(ii)    Otherwise relating to the conduct of the Promotion however caused, including but not limited to failure of the Web Site service or incorrect or corrupt data supplied by the Promoter to a Participant.

d)    any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;

e)    any variation in the value of any prize; or

f)    any tax liability incurred by a Participant or prize winner.

14.    Qualifying entrants will go into the draw to win 1 of 3 Telefunken 42” Plasma TV’s. Total prize pool is $1,500.

15.    Prizes will be delivered to the winners by the 15th November, 2011.
