CONGRATULATIONS on your decision to join the Builders Labourers’ Federation.

In order to make your membership official, the Union needs your signature. Fill in the form below and we will mail the application form straight to your door reply paid. You can resend the completed form and payment to Level 2, 366 Upper Roma Street, Brisbane QLD 4000.

Costs involved are $385.00 including GST for a new member to join. Included in that amount is a $60.00 joining fee (GST inclusive) which is paid only once. We have two fixed terms for each year, they commence 1st of April and 1st of October. At the change of these terms you will be sent an account for the new term fee.

The Union continues to hold the protection of members’ jobs, wages and working conditions in the highest regard. It is only by the collective action of Union members that the Union has been able to withstand attacks on your rights.

We are continually striving to ensure not only yourself is looked after, but your family is as well. The Union has fought to provide you with a 36 hour week, income protection, funeral benefits, cheaper home loans, free legal assistance, free counselling services, accidental dental plan, free financial planning and more. NOTE: If at any point you wish to discontinue your membership, a clearance has to be requested in writing addressed to the BLF.
